Inland

Focused on excellence in customer service in Brazil, Salinor has a large infrastructure for the operation and loading of trucks in the salt plants, aligned with a logistics strategy of quality, efficiency and loyalty of the carriers.

The trucks undergo prior inspection and are loaded in the shortest possible time. We provide a support structure for truck drivers, with ample parking, free internet, a convenience house with an area for food, rest, washing clothes and utensils, among other services.

We have our own cargo call center, with a specialized team dedicated to finding the most appropriate and least cost logistics solutions, in addition to representatives and distributors who operate throughout the national territory.

Salinor also has a warehouse for the distribution of salt in bulk and in big bags in the Port of Santos, to serve the large industries located in the Southeast and Midwest. The warehouse has a capacity of 40,000 metric tons of salt, brought from our salt plants by sea.

Maritime

Bulk salt is loaded at Areia Branca Salt Terminal – also known as TERMISA or TERSAB –, an offshore port located 14 km away from the coast of the State of Rio Grande do Norte, belonging to the Federal Government.

To transfer salt from its salt plants to the terminal, Salinor uses Navenor – a shipping company and wholly-owned subsidiary – which has 4 modern bulk carriers, built to suit for this operation. These are the main informations for the 4 barges owned by Navenor:
